IECAM Data Collection

Examine the Data

Data in the IECAM Data Collection may be examined in three ways:
  • GIS Map & Table
    (Geographic Information System section of the IECAM Web site)
    Data are searchable by (1) early childhood service types, (2) demographics, and (3) geographic area. Data are presented in both tables and maps. By interacting with a map of Illinois, users can identify and query individual centers and geographic areas.
    (NOTE: The GIS section of the IECAM Web site is best viewed in Internet Explorer version 7 on a PC. The GIS display does not function optimally in browsers other than IE7 on the PC, or on any browsers on the Mac.)
  • Tabular Format (the data collection that has been available on the Web site throughout the project)
    Data are searchable by (1) early childhood service types, (2) demographics, and (3) geographic area. Data are presented in tables.
  • Standard Reports
    Reports that answer frequently asked questions about early education services in the state of Illinois.
    Select "Create Standard Report" in the lefthand sidebar.
