The Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map (IECAM) provides a comprehensive picture of early care and education services in Illinois by combining up-to-date demographic information with early childhood program information from state agencies, Head Start, and private sector child care.

IECAM users can search for early childhood and demographic data in an easy-to-use tabular format or in a map format generated by IECAM’s Geographic Information System (GIS). Data indicate the number of children and the distribution of early childhood services by state, county, township, municipality, legislative district, and zip code.
