Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map
The Illinois Early Childhood Asset Map (IECAM) provides a comprehensive picture of early care and education services in Illinois by combining up-to-date demographic information with early childhood program information from state agencies, Head Start, and private sector child care.
IECAM users can see—through information provided in tables or in maps generated by its Geographic Information System (GIS)—the distribution of early childhood services at the state level and in counties, townships, and legislative districts.
Whether you need a map of existing early childhood services in a specific area or a table of statistical data, IECAM is designed to meet your needs.
IECAM is not a child care locator.

Planned and developed in collaboration with Chicago Metropolis 2020 with foundation and public funding. Foundation funding has come from the Joyce Foundation, Irving Harris Foundation, Grand Victoria Foundation, McCormick Foundation, CME Foundation, and Spencer Foundation. Public funds have come from the Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Department of Human Services, Illinois Network of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies, and University of Illinois.
